TWO products of Boro's youth system have agreed new deals, while another youngster has signed his first professional contract with the club.

Right-back Tony McMahon has signed a one-year contact extension, while 21-year-old striker Tom Craddock has also signed a 12-month deal with the club.

McMahon captained Boro and played in all seven games during the 2004 FA Youth Cup winning campaign before making his first team debut against Manchester United at Old Trafford in 2004.

McMahon has since gone on to play 25 games for the club, although his progress has been blighted by a series of injuries.

A fully-fit McMahon returned to first team action as a substitute in the final day 8-1 victory over Manchester City last season.

Craddock will add more competition to Boro's frontline next season. Like McMahon, the Darlington-born forward was a member of the 2004 FA Youth Cup winning side.

Craddock made his Boro debut in the famous away game at Fulham on the last day of the 2005-06 season that saw then Boro boss Steve McClaren field a side comprising of 15 locally-born players.

He has since made another four appearances for the Boro first team in between loan spells at Wrexham and Hartlepool.
