WHEN Robert Huth pulled on the white jersey of Germany for the first time in almost three years last Friday he became the 100th Boro international.

Making up for lost time, he was in action again last night.

Before the 1-1 draw with China in Guangzhou, Huth hadn't added to his previous caps, the last prior to Friday was in a 3-0 World Cup win over Ecuador in June 2006.

He played the full game last Friday and last night came on as a substitute in the second half as Germany won 7-2 against the United Arab Emirates in Dubai.

The appearance on Friday made him the 100th player to play for his country while on Boro's books and just the second German, joining Christian Ziege.
