ROBERT HUTH has been named in the Germany squad for a World Cup qualifying game in the middle of August.

Germany travel to Baku to take on Azerbaijan in Wednesday August 12, the fixture falling in between the opening two Coca-Cola Championship games of the season, at home to Sheffield United and away to Swansea.

Huth became the 100th player to represent his country when on Boro's books when he made a return from the international wilderness at end of last month.

He was playing his first game for almost three years as Germany drew 1-1 away to China. He followed up that with another game a few days later as Germany crushed the United Arab Emirates 7-2.
