SCHOOLS, community groups, grassroots teams and fans are being invited to join Boro by starting to plan for the Kick It Out campaign's One Game, One Community weeks of action - with cash grants for the best ideas.

This year's initiative will take place from Thursday October 15 to Tuesday October 27, coinciding with Black History Month, and all 92 professional clubs in England and Wales are taking part.

After more than 1,000 events took place last year, the organisers are hoping that more people than ever before will join in this time.

Examples of the kind of activities being planned include awareness events, competitions and football tournaments.

Kick It Out may even be able to help fund your event through the One Game One Community Development Grants.

The campaign can offer a wide range of resources to support activities taking place, including T-shirts, sweatbands, key rings, badges, flags and banners.
