Happy Returns For Rob
ROBERT HUTH celebrated his 25th birthday by playing his part in Boro's second successive away win at Glanford Park on Tuesday night.
Alongside David Wheater, Huth has given the centre of defence an almost impenetrable look with three consecutive clean sheets, but the Germany international says that's down to hard work.
"We had a good pre-season, we worked on a lot of things and we've carried that into the season proper. Hopefully you'll see the fruits of that work for the rest of campaign."
After going nine months without an away win, victories at Swansea and Scunthorpe have put a smile back on the faces of not just the travelling fans, but throughout the club.
Boro have shown they are up for the fight, dealing with the physical side of the game and sticking to their own principles.
"Swansea were a good side and they passed the ball well," recalls Huth.
"Scunthorpe was more physical, they threw everything including the kitchen sink at us, but I think their strikers were a little tired towards the end, they'd certainly put a shift in."

One noticeable feature of the season so far has been more talking among Boro's rearguard. Goalkeeper Danny Coyne is a good communicator and that seems to have rubbed off.
"If everyone talks and everyone does their bit, then the job becomes easier," reasons Huth.
"It seems to be working at the moment. With Rhys in front of us and Danny behind we're working as a unit. It helps when everybody knows what they're doing.
"I'm really enjoying my football at the moment, I think we all are. On a personal level it was brilliant to be named captain, but everyone is enjoying playing football again."
