Stars Thrill At Fashion Strikes
BORO stars swapped their football boots for the glamour of the catwalk when the club hosted a fashion show in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Riverside regulars including David Wheater, Chris Killen, Andrew Taylor, Jonathan Franks and Danny Coyne stepped out in style when they joined former players Craig Hignett and Gary Pallister and female models for Fashion Strikes, an exclusive event at the Riverside Stadium.
The evening began with a champagne reception then a catwalk show courtesy of The House in Yarm and Hair by Contemporary of Stokesley.

That was followed by a four-course gala dinner, auction with money-can't-buy items and live entertainment from top acts Jive Talkin' and Voulez-Vouz.
It was the third Fashion Strikes event Boro have held to help raise funds for Macmillan - and defender David Wheater has taken to the catwalk every time.

Wheater said: "We're all out of our comfort zone when we're on the catwalk but if we can use our profile to do some good for such a worthwhile charity, then it's worth it."
Organised by Middlesbrough Football Club, Fashion Strikes is sponsored by Riverside Leisure Promotions and award-winning florist Diana Kaye.
The event raised £3,520 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
