Cameron Park
Name: Cameron Park

AN ENGLAND youth international, left-winger Cameron made a surprise appearance on the Boro bench for the 1-1 draw with Swansea City at the Riverside on Saturday January 23 2010.

Before that he had only made a handful of Reserve team appearances, but illness to Jonathan Franks meant he was called up along with fellow teenager Bruno Pilatos for the Coca-Cola Championship clash.

A skilful and quick player, Marske-based Cameron was part of the Boro U13 team that won the prestigious the Cascais Foot Tournament in Estoril, Portugal just days before the first team's 2004 Carling Cup success.

He has since progressed rapidly through the ranks and has impressed his coaches since being awarded an Academy scholarship.

Cameron is the latest in a long line of left-wingers produced by the Boro Academy, including Adam Johnson, Stewart Downing and Chris Brunt.
