Doncaster youngster arrives...Main moves the other way
Middlesbrough have completed the signing of James Husband from Doncaster Rovers.
The 20-year-old joins Boro on a four–year contract while striker Curtis Main heads in the opposite direction to link-up with Doncaster.
A product of the Leeds United Academy, Husband joined Doncaster in 2010 and made 73 appearances for the club, including 30 in the Championship last term.
Head Coach Aitor Karanka said: “We are delighted to welcome James to the club. He is a young player we believe has a very good future in the game.
“He’s a good footballer and has all the things we look for in a young player. We wish him every success here at Boro.”
Striker Main departs Boro after making 52 appearances for the club, 36 of which came from the substitutes bench. Curtis, who joined the club from Darlington, and also had a loan spell at Shrewsbury at the start of last season, scored six goals for Boro.
