Boro Welcome Old Boys
NINE of Boro's old guard will be special guests of the Middlesbrough Former Players Association tomorrow as Stoke visit the Riverside.
The will be treated to the full matchday experience including hospitality ahead of the game. For some it will be their first visit to the Riversdie whereas others are regular visitors.
Boro legends Alan Peacock and Gordon Jones regularly host visits from former stars.
The visitors include no fewer than three goalkeepers.
The squad in full...
Joe Scott - Snapped up as an inside forward for just £5,000 and it proved money well spent. Scott began his Boro career with a bang firing in an impressive 16 goals in 29 games during his debut season.
Billy Day - Exciting outside-right, Day played as part of the late 1950s explosive forward line that included Brian Clough, Alan Peacock and Eddie Holliday.

Arthur Fitzsimons - Only Wilf Mannion won more international caps as a Boro player then Arthur Fitzsimons. A scheming inside forward, he was a skilful player who spent a decade with the club.
Rolando Ugolini - Italian by birth, Ugolini was one of the most colourful characters ever to pull on a keeper's jersey. Enjoyed eight memorable years at Ayresome Park.
Bob Appleby - Goalkeeper Appleby came out of the shadows of Peter Taylor and Esmond Million to become Boro's first choice custodian for almost two years.
Martin Regan - Making his first visit to the Riverside at the grand age of 84, the York-born outside right joined Boro from City for £4,000 in February 1948.
Others include keeper Morris Emmerson, 1950s left half Joe Birbeck, player turned ground-staff member Cliff Wright and striker Derek McLean.
Peacock and Jones run the Middlesbrough Former Players Association with Boro goalkeeping legend Jim Platt.
