PL Kicks uses Boro's appeal and the power of football to engage young people who may otherwise be difficult to reach by providing free activities across Middlesbrough four nights a week, 48 weeks of the year.

Goals include reducing crime and anti-social behaviour, building relationships between young people and the police and creating routes into education, training and employment.

Now a third venue, Newport Settlement on Union Street, Middlesbrough, is being added to the existing sites at Acklam Green Centre, Whinney Banks, and Hemlington Recreation Centre, so even more young people in the town can enjoy new experiences and opportunities.

The Kickz Programme

Mondays: Youth Club and Football at Acklam Green Centre from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Wednesdays: Football at Hemlington Recreation Centre from 6pm to 8pm.
Thursdays: Youth Club and Football at Newport Settlement from 7pm to 9pm
Fridays: Football at Acklam Green Centre from 6.30pm to 8pm

PL Kicks is funded by the Premier League Charitable Fund and Active Communities Network and is supported by IYSS, Positive Futures, Cleveland Fire Brigade, Cleveland Police, Erimus Housing, Middlesbrough Borough Council, Teesside University and the Army.
