Families of fans who pass away can request that their name, date of birth and date of death be recorded in calligraphic writing within the Book of Remembrance.
The red, leather-bound book is displayed within a glass cabinet in the Riverside Stadium's reception area and allows visitors to view details of fans who died on a particular date in years gone by.
Launched in 2006, the book features the names of 350 Boro fans together with those of Boro legends Wilf Mannion, George Hardwick, Willie Maddren, Harold Shepherdson and Johnny Spuhler.
