The stadium gates will open at 17:30*. For safety and security reasons, ticket holders will not be allowed to leave and be re-admitted once they have entered the venue.

Camping will not be allowed at the Stadium. Access to the site will not be available to ticket holders until the Stadium opens. Rucksacks, holdalls or similar items will not be permitted into the Stadium.

Directions for Car:
From the North:
Approaching Middlesbrough on the A19, cross over the River Tees and take the A66 eastbound towards Middlesbrough town centre. Stay on the A66 past the town centre and follow signs to the stadium, which you will see on your left.
From the South:
Leave the A1 (M) at junction 49, signposted to Teesside, and join the A168, which after approximately 11 miles will become the A19. Approximately 19 miles later take the A66 eastbound towards Middlesbrough town centre. Stay on A66 past the town centre (on your right) and follow signs to the stadium, which you will see on your left.
From the East:
Please use the A171 or A174 and then join the A19. Shortly after, take the A66 eastbound towards Middlesbrough town centre. Stay on A66 past the town centre (on your right) and follow signs to the stadium, which you will see on your left.
From the West:
Leave the A1(M) at junction 57 onto the A66(M). Follow signs to Teesside on the A66. In approximately 18 miles you will pass Middlesbrough town centre (on your right) and follow signs to the stadium, which you will see on your left.
Middlesbrough Bus Station is located with a 25 minute walk to the Riverside Stadium. It is served by coach services departing from and to many major cities throughout England. Buses operate from Middlesbrough town centre. Please note there is no bus service directly to the Riverside Stadium. There are however, a number of Arriva and Stagecoach bus services that drop off in North Ormesby, a short walk to the Riverside Stadium.
Middlesbrough Railway Station is located on Albert Road which is a 10 to 15 minutes’ walk from the Riverside Stadium. TransPennine Express and Northern Rail both operate through Middlesbrough Railway Station with direct services to and from York, Leeds and Manchester. Connecting services run to Eaglescliffe (Grand Central ) and Darlington (London North Eastern Railway ) which are on the main routes to London and around the country.

There is unlikely to be any parking at the Stadium site itself. Although, provisions will be made nearer to the concert date for blue badge holders to obtain a parking permit as close to the Stadium as possible.
Full traffic management arrangements, including parking facilities, will be published nearer to the date.
There is no designated drop off and pick up points at the Stadium or in the immediate vicinity. In the interests of public safety, all roads immediately surrounding the Stadium will be closed to vehicles throughout the day of the concert to ensure pedestrians can arrive, enjoy and leave the event safely.
If it is necessary to bring a bag, please ensure that it is as small as possible. Nothing larger than size A4 will be permitted.
Suitable clothing and footwear in case of inclement weather. Umbrellas will NOT be permitted inside the venue.
One bottle of water (500ml or smaller) in transparent plastic will be permitted, but these must be sealed on entry.
All bags will be searched on entry and anything larger than A4 size will not be permitted.
The following is a list of prohibited items:
- Glass, cans, bottles or thermos flasks of any kind.
- Flammable liquids and aerosols (including perfume, hairspray etc).
- Laser pens/pointers.
- Laptops, iPads, professional cameras/video equipment.
- Food and drink, unless for medicinal purposes – please notify the stadium before the day of the event if you need to bring items for medicinal use.
- Umbrellas, signs, banners, flags, inflatables, selfie sticks.
- Air horns, whistles or other noise making devices.
- Knives or weapons, fireworks, smoke bombs, confetti, glitter bombs or sprays.
- Any other items publicised in advance by stadium management and or the promoters.
Admission may be refused to anyone carrying one or more of the items listed above. It will be each ticket holder’s responsibility to dispose of any items that cannot be brought into the venue. Please note it will not be possible for any such items to be collected after the event.
No. It will not be possible to request special announcements or displays on the screens.
The Riverside Stadium is a No Smoking venue. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping, is not permitted in seating areas, on the pitch or in concourses.
However, for this event, smoking will be allowed at all external circulation areas.
