Our U18s progressed as group winners after drawing 2-2 at home to closest rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

Mark Tinkler’s youngsters had already breezed past Swansea City and Wolves, and a point was enough to secure top spot in the group.

Daniel Dodds had given Boro the lead and after the visitors pulled one back, Alberto Balde restored the advantage. Tottenham hit back to level for a second time, but despite seeing Cain Sykes sent-off for two bookable offences, Boro comfortably saw the game out to progress.

The U16s were made to work harder for their progress, against group leaders Tottenham. They came from 1-0 down - Josh Coburn scoring - to secure the all-important point which secured their progression as group runners-up.
