Rumarn Burrell struck late for Boro's Under-23s to salvage a point at Norwich on Friday evening.
Ben Liddle had opened the scoring for Boro with his third of the season, rifling into the top corner in the first half.
But goals from Gassan Adhame and Ciaren Jones either side of the break swung it in the young Canaries' favour.
After a host of further Boro chances, Rumarn Burrell scrambled in his first of the PL2 season with a minute of normal time remaining to earn a point, one that was well deserved following an impressive display from the Teessiders.
It's the last action for the U23s until after the international break, with Graeme Lee's team heading up the road to Sunderland on Monday September 16 (kick-off 7pm).

Also at the weekend, a young U18s team - two 15-year-olds were in the starting line-up - were beaten 4-1 on the road at Derby County, while our U16s beat the Rams by the same scoreline.
Joe Gibson netted on 40 minutes in what proved to be only a consolation goal for Mark Tinkler's side. Next up for the youngsters is Everton at Rockliffe Park on Saturday lunchtime (kick-off 12.30pm).
