To mark Holocaust Memorial Day, a team of Boro Academy youngsters represented the club in a four-team tournament at St George's Park.
It has been 75 years since the liberation of Auschwitz, and Holocaust Remembrance Day is an international event to remember the 1.1m people killed by forces at the Nazi concentration camp in Poland during the Second World War.
Boro were invited along with Norwich City, Charlton Athletic and Leeds United to take part in the Academy tournament over the weekend.
It's part of a wider educational project for our young players, piloted last year, which has also seen visits to a German Parliament Remembrance Service and a Holocaust survivor welcomed for a series of talks at Rockliffe Park.
As with last year, two Academy youngsters and a member of staff have also been invited to visit Auschwitz on an educational trip which will take place in the summer.
