Aitor Karanka says he has plenty to think about ahead of Boro's Premier League matches against Manchester United and Leicester City in quick succession.

After confirming that Viktor Fischer is Boro's only current injury absentee, the Head Coach says he is pleased with the options available to him.

"I know how difficult it can be to play two games in such a short time," he said.

"But other teams in the league have the same task and it is my job to manage that situation.

"We have to be careful, but every single point is important so once again I will put out the best team to win each game."

One such selection question is who will replace the suspended Antonio Barragan - who had started every Premier League game of his Boro career so far - after the defender picked up a fifth yellow card of the season at Burnley.

Boro's Head Coach is keeping his options open and his cards close to his chest.

"We have a lot of players who can play in that position," Karanka said.

"We can play with Fabio, Calum Chambers or with Emilio Nsue.

"So we have more than one who can replace Antonio."
