Middlesbrough have completed the signing of Belgian international Jelle Vossen on a season-long loan, subject to League and international clearance.

The 25-year-old striker, a long-time target of the club, completed his move to Teesside on transfer deadline day morning.

Vossen is a prolific goalscorer with Racing Club Genk and he bagged 105 goals in 244 appearances for the Belgian Pro League side.

Vossen, who was a League and Cup winner in Belgium, also has an impressive international pedigree, having represented his country at every level from Under-15 through to the senior side.

His senior debut for Belgium came in 2009 and he has scored two goals in 12 appearances for his country.

Vossen was the second arrival of transfer deadline way with Dutch Winger Yanic Wildschut earlier completing a move from Heerenveen.
