Boro supporter David Mohan has launched the Big Teesside Fundraiser in aid of our official charity MFC Foundation.

Having already raised £1,200 for the Foundation's peerless work in the Teesside community through a series of raffles, blind cards and bonus balls, David's attentions have now turned to a charity auction - with some incredible items up for grabs.

The 30-odd listings include a host of signed items, including shirts of Boro legends like Gareth Southgate and Grant Leadbitter, photographs of legendary Boro teams of the 1980s, and a limited-edition 2020/21 third shirt autographed by the current Boro squad and Neil Warnock.

There's plenty more on offer too, like West End theatre tickets, Michelin star afternoon tea and air combat experiences, as well as luxury holiday trips to Nice, the Lake District or Scotland.

David said: “I decided to set up this raffle and auction to help MFC Foundation give back to the community, allowing children and families to have meals during these hard times.

“I have done fundraising in the past for the Foundation as I know every penny goes straight back into the community.

“I also take part in #FitBoro, a free fitness course ran by the Foundation, so it’s good to give them something back as a ‘thank-you’.

“I reached out to ex-players and local celebrities with my idea and I’m really grateful to those who came back."
