Our Principal Partner offer support to week of action...
Middlesbrough FC and Principal Partner the 32Red are teaming up to support Responsible Gambling Week next month.
The football club became the first in the EFL to publicly sign up to Responsible Gambling Week and 32Red are also keen to show their support in delivering the message.
32Red have agreed to donate their matchday advertising space – screen, LEDs, programme – to deliver the Responsible Gambling message for our televised fixture against Derby County at the Riverside on Saturday October 27 (12.30pm).
A spokesman for MFC said: “Responsible Gambling Week is an opportunity for us as football clubs and organisations to play a part in delivering a clear and concise message. We have a social responsibility and this is very important to us to be at the forefront of this.”
Neil Banbury, General Manager at 32Red said: “Everyone at 32Red is delighted to support Responsible Gambling Week. We want our customers to enjoy gambling in a safe and sustainable way and we’re committed to doing everything we can to make sure they always set their limits and stay in control.”
Responsible Gambling Week is a cross-industry initiative to promote responsible gambling.
The Week is designed to get people talking about what it means to gamble responsibly, focusing on the tools that are available to keep gambling fun and how players across all types of gambling can gamble safely. We also ensure that anyone who needs additional information or help and support knows where they can find it.
About Responsible Gambling Week 2018
More than 127,000 staff at around 11,000 gambling venues and online sites in the UK and Ireland will take part in Responsible Gambling Week, triggering a national conversation with customers and their friends and families about what it means to gamble responsibly.
The theme of the week is ‘Let’s Talk About Responsible Gambling’ and practical advice will be shared through social media channels to ensure responsible gambling messages reach the widest possible audience. This is the second year of Responsible Gambling Week, following the inaugural Week in 2017.
