Boro have been drawn away to Fulham w/c August 22 2016 in the second round of the EFL Cup.
Aitor Karanka's side enjoyed a good run in the competition last year, reaching the quarter-finals following wins over Oldham, Burton Albion, Wolves and Manchester United.
