At least one Boro player has the chance of being in international action in each of the next eight days.

And that includes the chance for fans to check out pending arrivals Andraz Sporar and James Lea Siliki.

The duo were confirmed as Boro loan signings on Deadline Day, but are yet to come to Teesside as both are in line to represent their countries over the next few days.

Sporar’s Slovenia take on Group H opponents Slovakia in World Cup qualifying this evening (Wednesday), later facing the group’s bottom and top teams in Malta and Croatia.

Lea Siliki and Cameroon also have their World Cup hopes in full focus, playing Malawi and Ivory Coast in their first matches in Group D of African qualifying.

Those games are interspersed between three for Paddy McNair’s Northern Ireland, with two World Cup qualifiers against Lithuania and Switzerland bookending the week, and a friendly against Estonia in the middle of it.

Nathan Wood, who joined Hibernian on loan on Tuesday, also has one match to look forward to with England’s Under-20s, against Romania at St George’s Park.
