Middlesbrough Football Club further demonstrated its commitment towards diversity and inclusion over the weekend with our Under-18s backing Kick It Out’s Academy Awareness Weekend.
Our young players wore Kick It Out #EqualityInspires t-shirts ahead of their game against Manchester United at Rockliffe Park.
The Awareness Weekend was concurrent with our first Mini-Mela at the Riverside Stadium ahead of the first team match against Nottingham Forest.
The event was organised in association with Boro Fusion, a fan group aimed at encouraging BAME supporters to attend games at the stadium.
The BBC also released a short film on Saturday morning, following Boro Fusion’s Ifshaan Mahmoud and family at the Wolves game on Good Friday.
