Boro's First Team will head out to Germany for a second pre-season training camp on the continent later in July.
With Tony Pulis' squad currently based in the Austrian Alps, where we play against Sturm Graz on Thursday (July 5), our pre-season preparations will continue with a trip to Germany later in the month which will include two further friendly matches.
After our first domestic friendly away to Spennymoor Town on Tuesday July 10, Boro are set to fly out to southern Germany the following Friday.
Our first opponents there will be 2. Bundesliga outfit SV Sandhausen at the Julius Strohmayer Stadion in Mindelheim on Saturday July 14 (kick-off 5.30pm UK time).
A second friendly fixture will also be held at the end of the six-day trip, with the opposition and venue to be confirmed.
The Germany trip will precede UK friendlies against Accrington Stanley (Saturday July 21), Rochdale (Tuesday July 24) Sunderland (Friday July 27) and Hartlepool United (Saturday July 28).
