A team representing Boro's Academy lifted silverware in Lithuania last weekend.
The youngsters, aged 16 and 17, tasted victory in the annual Ateitis Cup, hosted by Ateitis FM in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius.
Under the tutelage of coach Mark Tinkler, Boro topped a group including TJK Legion, from Estonian capital Tallinn, Latvian side BFC Daugavpils, and TCW Titans of Saint Petersburg.
Victory over local side FA Žalgirietis followed, before the Teessiders bested SK Supernova from Riga, Latvia, on penalties in the final.
Lifting the trophy concluded a successful double excursion to Lithuania for Boro's Academy, our Under-14 side having performed admirably in their age category of the tournament a week earlier - missing out on top spot in their group by a single goal and finishing in fifth place overall without losing a game.
