Departing goalkeeper Brad Guzan says his short-term focus is firmly on Boro and the remainder of the club's Premier League campaign.
The 32-year-old is set to return to the USA this summer after agreeing a deal to join Major League Soccer newcomers Atlanta United, and his near 10-year stay in the UK will now come to an end later this year.
"This opportunity has arisen recently and having given it a lot of thought with my family, we feel that it is the right time for us to return to the US after 9 years in England," he said.
"Although we have not been on Teesside that long, we have enjoyed our time here at a fantastic club, and I look forward to helping the team as much as possible before my departure."
Guzan, who joined the club from Aston Villa during the summer, has made five appearances so far this season, the most recent of which came in the 3-0 FA Cup third round win against Sheffield Wednesday on January 7.
