We’re celebrating all that’s great about the Tees Valley at our game against Norwich City on Saturday March 30 (5.30pm) - and we’re asking you to help us make a difference.
Teesside Hospice have this week launched a Patient Comfort Appeal fund-raising mission with the aim being to buy 10 new beds at a cost of £4,900 per bed.
Raising £49,000 is a challenge for the hospice – but we’re hoping you can make a difference at our game against Norwich City and we’re asking everyone attending to ‘bring a quid’ to donate to the cause.
This is a chance for Boro fans to help such an important local charity that has had an impact on so many peoples live from all around Teesside.
There will be a bucket collection on the day of the game, and fans will also be able to donate via the tills in the club store and on the concourses.
Imagine the difference we could make if everyone could ‘bring a quid’ for this deserving cause?
Earlier this season, four of our players took part in the Hospice Hipster challenge and raised £10,000 for the Hospice through donations and sponsorship.
In partnership with Enjoy Tees Valley, we’re planning to showcase why we’re so proud our region at the game against Norwich City, and raising money to purchase new beds for Teesside Hospice would be the perfect legacy.
