Aitor Karanka has confirmed that Calum Chambers will miss this weekend's Emirates FA Cup tie against Accrington Stanley through injury.

The Boro Head Coach says Chambers sustained a stress fracture to his foot following last Saturday's game against West Ham at the Riverside and will join Antonio Barragan and Gaston Ramirez in being ruled out of action.

"There's Antonio Barragan, Gaston Ramirez and Calum Chambers," said the Head Coach when asked of any fresh injury concerns.

"Calum has a stress fracture in his foot. I don't know how long he will be out for or if it will be one, two, three or four weeks.

"At the minute he's trying to get fit as soon as possible."
