Midfielder Calum Kavanagh became the latest youngster to sign scholarship forms with the club.
The 16-year-old, son of former Boro midfielder Graham, was a regular in the U18s last season and scored six goals, including a run of five in six games before the season was curtailed in March.
Calum is a Republic of Ireland U17 international and has made four appearances, scoring once.
Calum’s dad Graham made 47 appearances for the club between 1991 and 1996, after joining from Irish club Home Farm. He went on to make over 600 appearances in a career that took in spells at Stoke, Cardiff, Wigan, Sunderland, Sheffield Wednesday, and Carlisle United.
