Every Christmas the club honours 'Champion Caring Children' from the local area as a special treat for deserving youngsters from our region.
In previous years we have held a 'Golden Ticket' event at the stadium, but this season we are offering our 'Champion Caring Children' an extra special Christmas party that will culminate in the youngsters walking out with the players ahead of our Carabao Cup quarter-final tie against Burton Albion on Tuesday December 18 (7.45pm).
We are looking for nominations from our fanbase for deserving young supporters who may have looked after family members fighting illness or have sadly lost parents or siblings in tragic circumstances. Other youngsters may shop for an elderly neighbour or care for a sick relative on a regular basis.
Supporters are invited to nominate youngsters to join us for our Christmas party player walk-out experience. Entries must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by the closing date of Thursday November 29.
The party will also include a visit by Father Christmas, face painters courtesy of McDonalds and lots of fun creative activities and games courtesy of WHSmith Teesside Park. Boro mascot Roary the Lion, Bee-Active and Betsy-Bee from Everyone Active will also be present, while food and music will be laid on.
