Charities will be the worthy winners when Jonathan Woodgate’s squad travel to FC Heidenheim on Saturday.
Boro follow in the footsteps of VfB Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt, Kickers Offenbach, and Hellas Verona in being invited to take part by our German hosts.
The Max Liebhaber Cup is a huge charity occasion for Heidenheim and the game is used as a platform to raise awareness for a number of good causes locally to the club.
Around 1,000 free tickets for the game have been handed out to local charities and amateur clubs in the region.
An away section, comprising of standing and seats, will be available for Boro fans with adult prices starting from 14 Euros.
It will be the club’s first ever trip to the Voith-Arena, and the squad will fly in on Friday before returning immediately after the game.
