The club's official retail store at the Riverside Stadium is reintroducing 'Quiet Hour', starting from this Saturday.
The initiative is designed to improve the in-store shopping experience for visitors with autism, anxiety or any sensory impairment.
The Quiet Hour will take place at the club shop from 10am-11am on Saturdays, and includes measures such as turning down lights and music, reducing activity and noise from tills and printing machines and more, all with the aim of creating a calm environment in the store.
The club first introduced the idea in 2019, follows in the footsteps of a number of leading retailers around the UK, and we are delighted to bring it back having seen reduced opening hours and intermittent store closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
MFC prides itself on being an inclusive and welcoming environment for all, and works closely with MFC Foundation on the RiversideBySide campaign to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion around the club.
