The 19-year-old midfielder, pictured above with Academy Manager Craig Liddle, puts pen to paper on a three-year contract.
Newcastle-born and a former Sunderland youngster, Malley has impressed as a regular with Boro's Under-23s over the past two seasons.
An unused substitute for two of our Carabao Cup games earlier in the season, at home to Rochdale and away at Preston, Malley has gained further first team experience as the '19th man' for several matchdays in the second half of the 2018/19 campaign.
Fellow Academy youngsters Stephen Wearne and Nathan Dale were recently offered their first pro deals with the club.
