Connor Ripley's displays for loan club Oldham Athletic have seen him earn a one-off Team of the Season card in popular video game FIFA 17.

The goalkeeper equalled a club record for clean sheets in a single campaign during his season-long spell with the Latics, and was subsequently named in the EFL Team of the Season  as well as winning a hat-trick of club awards.

The 24-year-old joins the likes of Dwight Gayle, Chris Wood, Anthony Knockaert and former Boro man David Wheater in receiving a boost to his in-game performance attributes, with Ripley's overall player rating boosted from 64 to 74.

Fellow Boro men George Friend and Victor Valdes have been awarded similar in-form FIFA cards earlier in the season.
