We’re delighted to announce we have been selected for a trial ‘return to crowds’ game at the Riverside for the visit of Bournemouth this weekend.
We are working in close collaboration with Middlesbrough Council, key support services, and MFC supporter groups, to deliver this pilot fixture, and would like to thank them all for their support.
Safety is our priority and after consultations with the local authorities and the government we are confident we can re-open to crowds on a matchday in a safe and manageable environment.
In accordance with the regulations, our capacity for this pilot fixture will be strictly limited to just 1,000. Only the West Stand will be open.
Tickets for the game will be available strictly online only for Season Card Holders to claim from 8pm on Wednesday September 16. These will be available on a first-come first-served basis. One ticket per Season Card.
Please ensure you are logged in correctly to claim your ticket.
Fans must adhere to the single-seating arrangements in place for this test event.
There will be no booking fee.
The tickets will be despatched via post on Thursday morning. Season Cards will not be valid. You must have a match ticket to gain entry.
Every ticket holder will also receive free parking in Car Park E (enter from The Leeway) on production of their match ticket.
The Ticket Office telephone lines will be open for queries between 10am-4pm on Thursday and Friday. The counters will also be open on Friday between 12pm-4pm and on Saturday from 9am until kick-off.
Please note there will be no ticket sales or collections on the day.
Tickets are strictly not transferable and stadium entry is only permitted to 2020/21 Season Card Holders.
Given the extreme short notice, and after speaking with representatives of fans groups, we believe this is the fairest way of allocating these tickets.
All Season Card Holders and Pledge to Renew fans will receive a free stream for this game.
All Season Card Holders attending the Riverside should please read and adhere to the above.
