Boro first team coach Curtis Fleming and striker Rudy Gestede were part of a Show Racism The Red Card event at the Riverside on Thursday.
The pair were on a six-person panel at the educational event, which was attended by Years 5 and 6 pupils from five primary schools in the Teesside area.
Rudy and Curtis were asked questions by the children, offering their thoughts and experiences on racism and how best to counteract it.
Also on the panel were Middlesbrough Mayor, Dave Budd, Police & Crime Commissioner for Cleveland, Barry Coppinger, and Emma Kelly and Tyler Woods from Middlesbrough Women FC.
