Boro goalkeeper Darren Randolph has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for November.
The Republic of Ireland international has kept the most clean sheets this campaign across the entire EFL with 11.
In four matches during the month of November, Randolph conceded only two goals, including a string of impressive saves in our draws away to Stoke City and Preston and our 2-1 win at Brentford.
His 11 clean sheets have helped Boro to fourth in the Championship table, with only 13 goals conceded so far this season – the fewest in our division.
Randolph becomes the first Boro player to be nominated for the Player of the Month accolade this season, while manager Tony Pulis was shortlisted for Manager of the Month in August.
The full list of nominees for the Championship Player of the Month for November are:
- Tammy Abraham (Aston Villa)
- Joe Lolley (Nottingham Forest)
- Teemu Pukki (Norwich City)
- Darren Randolph (Middlesbrough)
The winner will be announced on Friday December 7.
