Albert Adomah has joined Aston Villa.

The 28-year-old made his deadline day switch to the Midlands for an undisclosed fee.

A veteran of almost 500 career appearances, 143 coming for Boro, the Ghanaian international leaves Teesside after three years.

Adomah made 43 appearances during Boro's promotion winning season and has featured twice this term, his final appearance coming as a second half substitute during the 2-1 win at Sunderland 10 days ago.

Having started out with Harrow Borough, Villa will become the fifth club for a player who progressed from the Isthmian League to Barnet, then on to Bristol City, before joining Boro in August 2013.

Everyone at MFC wishes Albert all the best for the future.
