Boro received a twin recognition in EFL partner Screwfix's Moment of the Month vote.
Two special achievements within the club in October were included in a shortlist of four for the Screwfix award, and Boro came out one-two in the fan poll.
Winning the award was an initiative by the club's charity arm MFC Foundation and spearheaded by striker Ashley Fletcher which saw £25,000 raised in a matter of hours to help feed school children in our area over the half-term holidays.
Boss Neil Warnock was also acknowledged for his 1,500th game in league management, Boro's victory against Barnsley last month.
The other shortlisted moments were Cambridge United Groundsman being included in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list for 42 years’ service and charity work, and Wycombe Wanderers earning a first Championship win whilst manager Gareth Ainsworth was in hospital recovering from back surgery.

It follows a busy week of recognition for the club, with manager Neil Warnock winning for Manager of the Month, and the Riverside also named the best Championship away day in 2019/20.
