- Ryan Giles was born in Telford in January 2000.
- He progressed through the Wolves Academy and was named POTY in 2017/18.
- His first real taste of senior football came on loan to his hometown club Telford AFC in the National League North at the back of that same season.
- His first team debut at Wolves came in January 2019 in a 2-2 FA Cup draw at Shrewsbury Town, the nearest professional club to his hometown.
- He returned to Shropshire on loan in July 2019 where he made 25 appearances.
- He won four caps for England U20s, making his debut against Netherlands at…Shrewsbury.
- He clocked up 20 appearances on loan at Coventry during the first part of the 2020/21 season before making 23 appearances for Rotherham from January.
- He scored on his Rotherham debut – a 3-0 win at the Riverside in January 2021.
- In 2021/22 he made up another 33 Championship appearances with loan spells at Cardiff City and Blackburn Rovers.
- Ryan joined Boro on a season long loan in June 2022.
