Our last trip to Kenilworth Road was a no-holds-barred opening day encounter.

The Sky Sports cameras were in situ for the Friday night fixture, Luton's first in the Sky Bet Championship for 12 years.

Ashley Fletcher put Boro in front before the Hatters hit back through captain Sonny Bradley and former Teessider Martin Cranie.

A scuffed Britt Assombalonga shot and a stunner from Lewis Wing put Boro back in command, then Assombalonga missed a penalty and the chance increase the advantage.

There was more late drama to come as James Collins struck, snatching a draw for Luton and denying Jonathan Woodgate all three points on his first match in the Boro dugout.
