With Boro preparing to welcome West Bromwich Albion to the Riverside on Saturday (3pm), here's a look back at one of our biggest wins over the Baggies.
Back in 2005, Boro's double act of Szilard Nemeth and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink condemned West Brom to defeat on Teesside.
The forwards combined for three goals in ten first-half minutes at the Riverside, before Stewart Downing curled in a wonderful free-kick to wrap up the three points.
That win for Boro, part of a six-game unbeaten run at the end of the 2004/05 season, helped steer us towards a record-high 7th place Premier League finish, and seal qualification for the UEFA Cup for the second successive season.
The Baggies, meanwhile, would pull off the most incredible of great escapes under the stewardship of former Boro boss Bryan Robson, escaping the drop on the final day of the campaign.
