The half-term food parcel campaign is well underway with deliveries commencing around the region.
Having already delivered over 25,000 food parcels since March, almost £30,000 has been pledged to help MFC Foundation target child poverty during the half-term holiday.
Striker Ashley Fletcher has thrown his weight behind the campaign, while Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen joined members of the Foundation, and volunteers from the North Riding FA and Shack Community Project at the Riverside in packing and preparing the food for delivery.
Warburtons and Greggs are among the businesses who have shown their support while the Tees Valley Mayor donated £15,000 towards the campaign.
