The collection for Middlesbrough Foodbank proved to be a huge success at yesterday's game against Hull City, with 473kg of food and £684 in cash donated.
MFC and Middlesbrough Supporters Forum held a collection point for yesterday's lunchtime kick-off close to the North Stand Ticket Office.
Once again, high numbers of donations were recorded and the MSF have confirmed that the final total was 473kg of food and £684.67 in cash donations.
Middlesbrough Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by the Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
It provides three days of nutritionally balanced emergency food to local people who are referred in crisis.
