Neil Warnock has decided to donate his Manager of the Month trophy to a lucky fan, and in doing so help Butterwick Hospice.
It's a record 11th award of the Boro boss' storied career, and he has gifted the trophy to the Stockton-based hospice, with the club holding an online raffle on their behalf.
Boro fans can donate to help the hospice's amazing work in our community, and one lucky supporter will receive the trophy.
An incredible £3,500 was raised within the first 12 hours of the raffle being launched, enough to provide a weeks’ worth of daycare support for people living with a complex and progressive palliative diagnosis.
And the current total is £11,500 - with just a few hours to go before the cut-off point.
"In what are difficult times for everyone, I’ve been so pleased with the response I’ve had from all the fans. I want to dedicate this award to them," Warnock said.
"I wanted to show my appreciation by offering the award to our fans and at the same time, helping raise funds for a fantastic Teesside charity in Butterwick Hospice."
Entries are £2 each, and you can enter multiple times, for example a £10 donation will class as five entries.
Please ensure to include your name when donating, and tick the box which states “I'm happy to be contacted by Butterwick Hospice."
The raffle will be open until 3pm on Friday December 4, after which we will announce the winner here at mfc.co.uk and on social media.
