Around 1,000 Boro fans took advantage of the Riverside opening its doors on Tuesday ahead of the new season.

Fans were invited to visit the stadium and ask any questions they may have about crowds returning for the 2021/22 season.

For the majority it was the first time they had set foot inside the stadium since March 2020 when the club was last able to play a home game without any crowd restrictions.

Neil Warnock was a surprise visitor in mid-afternoon when he took time out to hand out autographs and pose for socially distanced photographs.

The boss was also joined by Dael Fry with the pairing both speaking with Sky Sports News as part of the EFL's official season launch.
