British sprinter and Boro fan Richard Kilty called in at Rockliffe Park to work with injured duo Dael Fry and Patrick Roberts.
Dubbed the Teesside Tornado, Kilty and triple jumper Scott Hall offered some tips and ran through a number of drills with the Boro stars as they continue their recoveries from injury.
"Footballers are quick and they are elite athletes, they're naturally gifted and they can run fast compared to your general sportsman or your general man," said Kilty.
"We're just trying to completely fine tune them and making sure they're hitting the right positions so we can completely maximise their stride frequency and stride length, as well as making sure they're firing in the right positions to make sure they're as efficient and as fast as possible.
"I've got a really good relationship with the club and we're hoping to build on that further and work with more players, become regular and help the players gets faster."
