James Lea Siliki's Cameroon have moved a step closer to qualifying for next year's World Cup finals in Qatar.

The on-loan midfielder played the final 20 minutes as Cameroon beat Ivory Coast 1-0 in a must-win game in Yaounde.

Lyon striker Karl Toko Ekambi struck the only goal of the game after 21 minutes to ensure Cameroon finished two points clear of Ivory Coast at the top of Group D.

Cameroon are now through to the third round of African World Cup qualifiers.
