Lewis Wing's match-winning goal against Crystal Palace has been shortlisted for the Carabao Cup Goal of the Round.
His first competitive goal in Boro colours, the ball sat up nicely for Wing to smash home on the half-volley in the dying embers of the first half.
It proved to be the decisive goal as Boro beat Premier League Palace to set up a last-eight tie with Burton Albion.
Wing is up against Bournemouth's Junior Stanislas, Burton's Jake Hesketh, Norwich City's One Hernandez and Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-Min in the running for the award.
Wing has also been nominated for the Carabao Cup Player of the Round for his efforts, where he is up against Burton's Scott Fraser, Kevin de Bruyne from Manchester City and Spurs' Son.
