Curry played just over an hour for the hosts coming off for James Keatings, but neither side could find a way through as it finished goalless after 90 minutes.

The tie went straight to penalties, with Inverness prevailing 4-2 in the shoot-out courtesy of two saves from goalkeeper Mark Ridgers.

Inverness join Raith Rovers, Rangers Under-21s and Partick Thistle in the last four of the competition.

Enes Mahmutovic played the entire 90 minutes for MVV Maastricht, who were beaten 2-0 by FC Eindhoven.

Brad James and Gateshead were left without a game on Saturday after their home fixture against Chester was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions.

The Heed travel to Altrincham tomorrow night.
