A look at the midweek action for Boro's loanees...

Hayden Hackney laid on his first assist as Scunthorpe United picked up a rare away point in their struggles at the foot of League Two.

Ryan Loft missed a penalty for The Iron after just three minutes, then George Taft powered in a header from Hackney’s corner close to half-time.

Scunthorpe were winning when Hackney was replaced on 77 minutes, but Barrow’s Robie Gotts struck an equaliser three minutes later.

Jack Robinson featured for Yeovil Town, who secured passage in the Emirates FA Cup against local rivals Weymouth in dramatic fashion.

Weymouth had netted a last-gasp equaliser at the weekend to take the game to a replay, and they hit Town with another sucker-punch this time, an 87th minute leveller after Matt Worthington’s first-half opener.

But Yeovil held their nerve to win it on spot kicks and reach the first round proper, where they will face Dover or Yate Town.

Djed Spence was involved in late drama as Nottingham Forest staged an unlikely stoppage-time turnaround at Bristol City.

Forest were trailing at a rainy Ashton Gate heading into time added on, but a double from Lyle Taylor - the first a penalty won by Spence, tipped the game on its head.

Lewis Wing played just under an hour of Sheffield Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Cambridge United, the Owls’ equaliser scored by Fisayo Dele-Bashiru some 20 minutes after the midfielder had been withdrawn.

Chuba Akpom and PAOK face FC Copenhagen tonight in the Europa Conference League, with both sides currently unbeaten after two matches in Group F - the Greek side on four points on the Danes on six.
